CAO Zocalo Cigars come from a company that has built a huge and loyal following by using the rarest and hardest to find premium tobacco sourced from the most fertile tobacco fields throughout the world. This includes tobacco from Columbia, Italy, Cameroon Africa, the Amazon Rainforest, and more, that you will rarely find on any other premium cigar blends. Although it’s one of the companies more traditional blends, Zocalo is the very first CAO offering to feature a Mexican wrapper. While some cigars use a powerful peppery Mexican leaf that can overwhelm the rest of the blend, Zocalo boasts a rare Morron varietal from the fertile San Andres Valley that is inherently smoother in taste than your typical Mexican wrapper. Originally released in 2018 as a single 6 x 60 Grande with a production run of only 3,500 boxes, this new CAO Zocalo is a mass production line that is now available in three popular big ring sizes: 6.25 × 54 Toro, 6 × 60 Gigante, and a 5 x 52 Robusto. All three vitola’s are composed of this stunning silky smooth Morron Mexican wrapper leaf encasing a core of the finest aged binder and long filler tobacco from Nicaragua. Each draw off this Mexican inspired beauty delivers bold, yet smooth medium-to-full bodied flavors of black pepper, hickory wood, earth, cocoa, and lots of tobacco sweetness on the finish. Sold in affordable boxes of 20, Zocalo is yet another creative CAO blend that’s certain to become a big part of your everyday smoking rotation
