Rocky Patel cigars, but the re-released 6" x 52 Rocky Patel Edicion Unica cigar proves the man has got the skills to keep innovating. The all-Honduran blend, including a Jamastran wrapper and longleaf Jamastran and Talanga Valley filler tobaccos, was originally created exclusively for the Honduran Humo Jaguar Cigar Festival of 2011. After taking top honors at that event, Rocky decided to release the cigar into the wild as a limited edition and boy did they go quickly. Fortunately there was enough of the same prime leaf, by now very well rested, to create one more run of these 6 inch by 52 ring gauge Toros. While the blends are identical, the new Edicion Unica is distinguished by the white and gold-highlighted green band instead of the original’s more muted tan label. Construction is top notch, the hearty bulk of ligeros in the center providing a smooth draw despite being held firm by a flawless and oily outer leaf.
